For a brief moment, I thought about rebranding my little press to Wander Bird Press. The logo is what the name would be. Then I thought, ”Why bother?” What does it matter? The bird logo can have that name, and the press can keep it’s name. That’s that.
The press publishes a comic of the same name—and then it will publish other titles and paperworks—and it will all be just fine.

A paper vehicle
It’s not about the press, anyways.
The press is just a vehicle to make things separate from the illustration stuff I do for kids books. I will use it to publish my own ideas—when I have them—and get them printed on my own. It’s a very low stakes way fro me to put stuff into the world. I don’t know if it will have any impact on anyone, but I have a handful of ISBNs to use and I am sure, in the next 10 years, I’ll be able to make a few more silly books.
I figure I’ll also make some zines or printables that can fall under this monocle. I don’t have any use for a shop on my Illustration site. Right now, I don’t feel like putting all my stuff on Lukism.com. It’s basically there to get me work-for-hire jobs.

A playground
This site, I think, can be my playground. My sandbox. A place to play around and try things out. Maybe I’ll blog. Maybe I’ll post comics. Maybe I’ll phlog or vlog. I dunno.
More later.
